About David - Atomic Owner
David Besse is the owner, operator, and founder of Atomic Tint Shop. He attended the 3M training in Florida where he became a Trained and Certified Installer in October of 2017. Since 2019 we have been an Authorized Xpel Installer, as they are some of the industry's top performing film manufacturers. His philosophy for Atomic has always been quality over quantity and 8 years later we still operate by this motto. When you call or visit our facility you will see the difference in the experience we offer.
About Chris - Lead Tinter
Chris joined the ATS family in September of 2021 as our second tinter. He recently was moved into the Lead Tinter & Manager position, even though we still operate as a team of 2-3 per vehicle. He attended the Xpel window film training in Texas in November 2021, where he also received his Xpel Certification.
David and Chris attended the Xpel VISION training becoming certified in installing flat glass film. This film is for residential and commercial buildings, providing everything from privacy to decorative to security.
When you visit ATS you will notice we have cactus spread around the lawn. These were placed by Chris and shows his love for all things Cacti!
About Michael - Tinter
Michael originally came to Atomic in August 2022 and is now back to be a Tinter as of September 2025! He is a huge family man and loves his dogs, along with the outdoors! He brings positive energy and humor to our team and we're thankful to have him here!
He completed his Xpel Training in December 2025 to take his installation to the next level!

About Garrett - Tinter
Garrett is an OG from Winder and comes to us with over 5 years of tinting experience, along with previous professional in-house training. He is also very knowledgeable on dash camera installations, which is how we were able to bring this option to our shop for the first time in 2025!
Garrett is married with a puppyand resides within Winder, where he enjoys camping and spending time with his family.
About Candace - Office Manager
Candace Besse joined Atomic full time in August 2020 and is the Office Manager and was the Lead Detailer. She is IDA Certified as a Detailer (CD) and Skills Validated Detailer (SVD). She has recently had to step away from detailing o run the business fulltime as we continue to grow.
David and Candace Besse are both certified Glassparency technicians. They were professionally trained on installing the product to automotive windshields/glass and Residential shower glass.
David Besse and Candace Besse are both owners and operators of Atomic Tint Shop. David started ATS out of their garage in October 2017, eventually moving full time to our Winder location in March 2018.
